System Overview

The double-sided butyl rubber adhesive tape is a cold-applied material designed as the inner layer of a multi-ply pipeline coating system. It is primarily used for the corrosion protection of oil, gas, and water pipelines, either underground or aboveground.

Installation Sequence:

  1. Apply liquid adhesive (primer).
  2. Wrap the double-sided adhesive tape (inner layer).
  3. Apply the outer protective tape.
